December 2019- Week Ending 22nd

Last Thursday night proved a bit of a washout all-round, obviously impacted by very poor weather and its generally a busy time so its understandable.
There has been some great feedback on the Homelessness Awareness Exhibition, lots of comment and interest in general from those who managed to get to see the images. On the program for the 9th of January is a review of the project, there is a plan to use the images to create a poster / collage of this major society problem to a wider audience across the country. On the night we can use the images as part of a workshop on making a poster in Photoshop using layers and pallets to make it impactful.

Just a couple of important dates and events over the coming weeks,
/ Tuesday the 7th of January is the Will McCrum Portrait competition, the results and adjudication on the entries takes place at Morton Community at 7.30pm hosted by Central Photographic Association.
/ The Inter-Regional Wildlife PDI Competition entry has been extended until Sunday the 29th of December. Anyone with a PDI in this category can forward their images (Up to 4 with no fee) to for consideration. There are some members with images that fit this theme and it’s up to individuals to enter.
/ NIPA Inter-club R3 Adjudication takes place on Wednesday the 22nd of January at Antrim Camera club. It would be good if we managed to get some members to attend and show support for the event. The feedback at these events can be very helpful.
